The She Dancer Video Shoot and some lyrics...

Hi there,

Firstly welcome to the new Morning Lane blog. During these posts, Morning Lane and our team, will hopefully provide readers with a closer look at the band.

Over the last couple of weeks we have been busy rehearsing as usual and fine tuning our set for the O2 gig in August. We have also implemented some new gadgets and monitoring. John or Ross can go into in a later blog as they love all that stuff.

Recently we found a great musician called Carolina Borkowska, who has joined us for some rehearsals. Her cello playing is brilliant and should be a great compliment to some of our songs. So fingers, toes, arms and legs crossed, she will be up to speed come the O2 on August 6th. We are sure she will, so come and see for yourself.

In addition we have filmed a video for the She Dancer single release. The actual release date is yet to be confirmed. However we will be giving away a free download of the track on the 6th August at the O2 to anyone who comes down to show their support. So keep an eye on our website for details.

This brings me on to the video shoot. This was filmed by Aaron and Sam, who we only met recently. Hannah (ML staff\photographer\designer) made the introductions; Aaron saw us at 93 Feet East on Brick Lane and was very keen. We all got on like a house on fire and got down to a packed filming schedule.

The venue for the shoot was The Bedford in Balham where Stephen has played his acoustic solo shows before and thought the setting would be ideal. He was not wrong! "This extraordinary space shaped like a Shakespearean globe" writes their website, used to be home to an 18th Century courtroom.
